Mosaic Fellowship is a church of house churches.
The early church gathered in large meeting areas like the temple and synagogues. They also met in smaller gatherings in homes across cities. House churches were called churches and together they were called a church. Following this model, we see great value in being both house churches and one church. These two expressions of the church are not competing but complimentary.
As one church our house church leaders and their members receive care, encouragement, teaching, equipping, oversight, and protection. Our giving and going is multiplied as we work together to advance the gospel and minister to others locally and globally through our whole-church partnerships. Additionally, house church leaders find support and training in raising and equipping new leaders for new house churches. Together, as one church we plant new house churches to reach and teach new people.
