House Church

House churches are the heart of our community

A house church is a group of people committed to Jesus Christ and one another, gathering regularly in a home under biblical, New Testament leadership for the faithful teaching of God’s Word, the practice of the sacraments, and carrying out His mission locally and globally.

Discipleship in Community

Mosaic house churches are smaller expressions of the church doing all the things a biblical church would do, giving, serving, teaching the Scriptures, practicing the sacraments, encouraging one another, practicing discipline, etc., all under the authority and oversight of the larger church.

While our house churches will vary in some aspects, we also have much in common.  In a typical house church gathering we:

Share a meal

Celebrate our member’s “highs” and pray for “lows,”

Read Scripture

Discuss what we learned at our Sunday gathering

Practice silent listening as we seek the Lord

Encourage one another in becoming more like Jesus

You don’t need to have everything figured out to belong here.
